Meet Your Local Instructors & Guides
*Kim McNamer
Kim is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to play bikes and recreate in the mountains. She believes in the power of community and is passionate about getting more humans outside, especially youth and women on bikes. She first owned a mountain bike in college and recalls going out with her brother's friends to ride it, completely oblivious as to what mountain biking was and unaware of the power it would later have over her. Fast forward 25 years, she strives to live and breathe biking. She is the co-founder of Singletrack Adventures, a mountain bike company focused on providing private and group lessons for adults and kids, guiding rides on the Whitefish Trail and other trails throughout the Flathead Valley, and providing Kids Days at the Whitefish Bike Retreat. Kim is on the sales team at Glacier Cyclery & Nordic, serves as an instructor for Flathead Area Mountain Bikers women’s and youth clinics, and has been a mountain bike instructor with Whitefish Legacy Partners’ Girls on the Trail program. Kim travels to various locations to serve as a coach with Ladies AllRide, and when in the area of Moab she is an instructor for Momentum Mountain Biking and serves as a guide for Rim Tours. She holds a Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA) Level 1, a Bike Instructors Certification Program (BICP) Level 2, Wilderness First Responder and CPR certifications. She has also worn many hats working with Roam Events at Roam Fest Fruita and Roam Fest Sedona, Roam Rallies, and is a Roam team member for Rebecca’s Private Idaho. Bryan likes to ride bikes and dig in the dirt. He is an avid mountain biker who enjoys well maintained trail systems like Spencer Mountain and the Whitefish Trail but also enjoys a good rugged, old school backcountry trail just as much. He loves exploring the backcountry whether on bike or split board, and is always curious about what trails exist in those ranges and connects those ridges. Bryan is the co-founder of Singletrack Adventures, a mountain bike company focused on providing private and group lessons for adults and kids, guiding rides on the Whitefish Trail and other trails throughout the Flathead Valley, and providing Kids Days at the Whitefish Bike Retreat. Bryan loves to travel with bikes during the off season, which sometimes means working while playing. When in Moab, he is an instructor for Momentum Mountain Biking and serves as a guide for Rim Tours. He has also been a ride leader for Roam Events co-ed mountain bike retreats and enjoys sharing his love of mountain biking and trails with others. He holds his Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA) Level 1, a Bike Instructors Certification Program (BICP) Level 2, Wilderness First Responder, in addition to an Association of Snowboard Instructors Level 1 certification.
